The Charities Act 2011 requires all registered charities to prepare a Trustees' Annual Report and Accounts. If the charity's annual income is over £10,000, a basic Annual Return must be completed and sent to the Charity Commission within ten months of the end of each financial reporting period. If the charity's annual income is over £25,000, the Trustees' Annual Report and Accounts must also be sent within the ten month deadline.
